Introduction

Algeria is the capital and largest city of Algeria. The city's population at the 2008 Census was 2,988,145[3] and in 2011 was estimated to be around 3,500,000. An estimate puts the population of the larger metropolitan city to be around 5,000,000. Algiers is located on the Mediterranean Sea and in the north-central portion of Algeria

Algeria is situated on the west side of a bay of the Mediterranean Sea. The modern part of the city is built on the level ground by the seashore; the old part, the ancient city of the deys, climbs the steep hill behind the modern town and is crowned by the casbah or citadel, 122 metres (400 ft) above the sea. Tamina (eaters)

Tamina (or zrir) is a traditional Algerian dessert, made with semolina, honey and butter. It is served on occasions and holidays.

How to prepare

Toast the semolina well in a frying pan over a fire until golden.

Mix honey and melted butter in a saucepan and put them over the stove to heat.

In a bowl, pour honey and butter into a bowl, spread the roasted semolina over it and mix well.

Ingredients semolina. butter. Honey. Sweet Darraji. Cinnamon.

MOHAMMED DIB

MOHAMMED DIB (July 21, 1920 - May 2, 2003) is a French-speaking Algerian writer, author of novels, short stories, plays, children's stories, and poetry. He began his studies in Tlemcen, without attending Koranic school, and continued them in Oujda in Morocco. After the death of his father in 1931, he began around 1934 to write poems but also to paint. His meeting with a French teacher, Roger Bellissant (who will become his stepfather) consolidates him in the path of writing
